All doors have electronic locks. Your door code is 5150 — same code for every door. Just type it in to lock and unlock.

Downstairs door auto-locks after 90 seconds. You can disable this using the thumb-turn latch on the inside of the door.

Lock not working? There's a lockbox on the hose bib at the shuffleboard court. Code is 5150 — there's a physical key inside. Please let Jay know if you have to use it.

Golf Cart Rules — Important!

Driver must be 16+ with a valid license. Stay on streets 35 mph or less, within 4 miles of the property

No smoking or vaping — inside or on the property

Rinse off sand before coming inside — use the outdoor shower to keep the house clean for everyone

Quiet hours after 10 PM — Surfside Beach enforces noise restrictions between 10 PM and 7 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors

Golf cart safety — See the Arrival section for Surfside Beach rules. They're strictly enforced!

Weather & Pool Area

Afternoon thunderstorms are common, especially later in the day. For everyone's safety and to protect equipment, please keep pool umbrellas closed when not in use.

Keep the pool area tidy — please pick up personal items, toys, and trash when you're done enjoying the space.

Towel Use

Please use the provided towels for bathing and showering only. Using them at the beach or for cleaning outdoor items may cause staining. Our linen service may provide a few extras, but any towels too damaged to launder will need to be replaced.

Surfside Beach short-term rental zone

Trash (Green Cart) — Collected Monday, Thursday & Saturday. The trash collector will roll the cans to the street, so please make sure they can get the carts out around your vehicles.

Recycling (Blue Cart) — Collected every Friday town-wide. Recyclables must be unbagged and placed in the blue cart.

Please Note — No electronics, paint, tires, batteries, or hazardous materials in carts. Yard debris in paper bags only.

Linens & Towels — Gather all used sheets, pillowcases, and towels into a central location on each floor. Leave comforters and mattress pad covers in the bedrooms — handled by a separate crew.

Dishes — Ensure all dishes are washed. You're welcome to run a final load in the dishwasher as you leave.

Refrigerator & Trash — Remove all items from the fridge and place all trash and recycling in the bins downstairs.

Furniture — Return all furniture to its original location, including cribs.

Pool Area — Clean up any debris or trash around the pool area.

Toys & Umbrellas — Return all pool and beach toys to their storage area and make sure all umbrellas are rolled down.
